I have been slacking over the last month (okay, almost 2 months) on posting - after I had improved so much. A lot has happened, so to keep it short and sweet, bullet points are my friends today.
- Ainsley successfully completed her first plane trip to Canada with no problems, in fact, she was the darling of the airport (this is very helpful when going through security with a bag too many)
- Nan and Granddad and all the Canadian family got to meet the only Great Granddaughter for the first time, which was wonderful
- Ainsley's hair became long enough to do pigtails, and has decided that she hates to have her hair done in any way shape or form
- Matt successfully completed his first class on his way towards a degree in accounting and passed with an A
- Ainsley now can pull herself up (finally) and has decided that crawling isn't so bad after all
- Ainsley can tell me what the following animals say when asked: Dog, snake, cat, sheep, lion, monkey, and fish
- We have determined that the reason Ainsley cannot walk yet is because of her abnormally small feet. Seriously, she can still wear her 0-6 month Pedipeds. The other kids at Little Gym have feet like gorillas in comparison
- The Little Gym is the greatest place ever. We are positive going there every week is going to turn her into the next Nastia (she has the best forward roll in the class, can pull herself up on the uneven bars and can walk the balance beam with little assistance)
- New words: Ball, cup, cat, CeCe (name of said cat), balloon, daddy, baby. In sign language: please, more and eat
- Ainsley no longer has a blocked tear duct. The procedure was last week and she did great without having to do anesthesia
- She is no longer a baby. As of her birthday all bottles have been packed up. I miss bottle time
- No matter what you feed her, she manages to make an absolute mess of herself and within a five foot radius of where she is sitting. Clorox wipes and the Dust Buster are my best friends
- 10 teeth are in and working on #11
- Matt finished the bathroom!!!!!!! It is wonderful (will post pics once clean)
